Com um nome como SKELETONWITCH, você não pode esperar por uma banda punk feliz e positivista. Oriundos de Ohio (EUA), eles lançaram um dos álbuns mais fortes na cena thrash de 2007, “Beyond the Permafrost”. Apesar de suas guitarras e seções rítmicas funcionarem, são os vocais de Chance Garnette que chamam atenção. Seus rugidos guturais mostram obvias influências de death metal, mas é quando chegamos na forma de tocar do SKELETONWITCH que atingimos momentos relaxantes.
